More information
Looking for a Westminster Abbey tour with priority access? Enjoy a guided tour with refreshments in the historic Cellarium, and add a fast-track London Eye flight to make the most of your day.
Your Experience
Your visit begins in the 14th century medieval undercroft, originally used by Benedictine monks to store food and drink. Today, the Cellarium is a unique restaurant, and this is where you'll pause for complimentary coffee, tea and pastries before your tour begins.
From here, you'll enter the Abbey through the cloisters in Dean's Yard, giving you priority access and helping you avoid the queues at the main north door. Your exclusive tour with a professional qualified guide then begins.
An architectural masterpiece, Westminster Abbey presents a unique pageant of nearly 1,000 years of British history — the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. Your guide will bring this remarkable building to life, where 40 English and British coronations have taken place since 1066.
You'll hear about the most recent coronation of King Charles III, held on 6 May 2023, and the royal wedding of Prince William and Catherine, Prince and Princess of Wales, held here in 2011. You'll also pause to reflect on the life of the late Queen Elizabeth II, whose state funeral was held at the Abbey.
Optional London Eye Upgrade
After your Westminster Abbey experience, why not add a flight on the London Eye? Your representative will take you on a short walk past the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, helping you skip the queues with your fast-track ticket. Standing 135 metres above central London, the London Eye is the world's highest observation wheel, offering magnificent panoramic views across the capital.
