Your Day — Itinerary

Stonehenge — One of the World's Greatest Mysteries

Leaving London with your guide, you'll head across the Salisbury Plains to see the most famous prehistoric monument in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stonehenge stands alone in the vast, empty plain, its origins dating back nearly 5,000 years. It has been the subject of public debate and spiritual fascination ever since. Was it a temple to the sun, an observatory of the moon, or an elaborate ancient cemetery? Who were the people who carried and carved these 40-tonne stones? Come and unlock the secrets for yourself and marvel at this extraordinary feat of ancient engineering and design.

Windsor Castle — Royal History Spanning 900 Years

Over 900 years of royal history await at Windsor Castle, perched high above the River Thames just outside London. From William the Conqueror in the 11th century, 40 successive monarchs have lived here, making it the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. You'll enter the castle to see for yourself the splendour of St George's Chapel, the final resting place of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and the magnificent State Apartments. Windsor itself is a charming town full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written The Merry Wives of Windsor in one of them!

From Windsor, it's a short journey back into London where your adventure finishes. It's a day that blends ancient wonder with royal splendour, brought to life by a guide who knows how to turn history into a great story.
